Danny Corn

Danny Corn lives on the vanguard of electronic music. As a DJ, he is known as an instrumental player in the formation of the “west coast” sound and over the years has traveled extensively and played with just about everybody who has made moves in the scene. A champion of syncopated, bass heavy music, Danny Corn rides the edge of experimental sounds, whilst staying firmly committed to the dancefloor. A recent move to Portland, OR has found Danny Corn taking time to channel all of his experience into music production. His current sets are a eclectic mix of originals, exclusives and personal favorites.

In The Year 2889
“Nuclear war devastates much of the world, but old man John Ramsey (Neil Fletcher) manages to survive, and he holes up on his rural property with his daughter, Joanna (Charla Doherty). Because John always believed in the inevitability of nuclear apocalypse, he’d prepared the house with plenty of provisions. Other survivors of the disaster start to show up at the house demanding refuge. John reluctantly lets them in, but there is much tension. Then the mutants appear.” ~ Google.

It is the year 1985 and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is your typical 80s high school student with one exception, his kooky science genius friend Doc Brown who he regularly visits to escape his bickering family. Doc has been working around the clock on his newest invention: A sweet DeLorean sports car that has been rigged to travel through time! Marty and Doc are set to meet and test out the new machine when some Lybian Nationalists show up and start shooting up the place. In an effort to escape Marty accidentally sends himself back in time to 1955. In his confusion he accidentally interrupts his parent’s first meeting when they fell in love, which sets in motion a series of events that endangers Marty’s very existence!

This tongue-in-cheek sequel offers equal parts sword-and-sorcery style action, gore, and comedy. Bruce Campbell returns as the one-armed Ash, now a supermarket employee who is transported by the powers of a mysterious book, back in time with his Oldsmobile ‘88 to the 14th century medievel era. Armed with only a shotgun, his high school chemistry textbook, and a chainsaw that mounts where his missing appendage once resided, the square-jawed, brutally competent Ash quickly establishes himself as a besieged kingdom’s best hope against an “army of darkness” currently plaguing the land. Since the skeleton warriors have been resurrected with the aid of the Necronomicon he agrees to face the enemy in battle.

Brother From Another Planet

“A slave from outer space escapes to earth. Except for his three-toed feet, he looks like an ordinary young black man. He crash-lands on Ellis Island, appropriately enough, and ends up in Harlem. There he makes friends with the owner and the regulars of a bar. Because he can fix any machine (by simply touching it), he’s able to make money. He’s mute, which proves more of an advantage than a disadvantage. And he can heal himself and others with nothing but his hands. His real troubles begin when two extraterrestrial bounty hunters attempt to recapture him and bring him back to where he came from.” ~ IMDB.
