With wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) and psychic son Danny (Danny Lloyd) in tow, frustrated writer Jack Torrence (Jack Nicholson) takes a job as the winter caretaker at the opulently ominous, mountain-locked Overlook Hotel so that he can write in peace. Before the Overlook is vacated for the Torrances, the manager informs Jack that a previous caretaker went crazy and slaughtered his faimly. Jack doesn’t think it’s a problem but Danny’s “shining” hints otherwise. Settling into their routine, Danny cruises through the empty corridors on his Big Wheel, while Jack sets up shop in a cavernous lounge with strict orders not to be disturbed. Danny’s alter ego “Tony” starts warning of “redrum” as Danny is plagued by blood soaked visions of the past. Frightened by her husband’s behavior and Danny’s visit to room 237, Wendy soon discovers what Jack has really been doing in his study all day, and what the hotel has done to Jack.

Ott has been messing about with sound boxes every day for as long as he can remember. Having spent the ‘90s flitting between his day-job as a freelance studio engineer and long weekends under the stars at psychedelic trance parties, the obvious next step, as the millennium turned, was to create music of his own from the jumble of sounds which filled his head. After teaming up with Twisted Records, 2002 saw the release of the acclaimed ‘Hallucinogen In Dub’ album, followed in short order by his first solo effort, ‘Blumenkraft’in 2003. 2008 saw the release of ‘Skylon’ and in 2011 the album ‘Mir’ was born. A pattern has formed: every four years or so an album coalesces from the chaos, heads out into the world and takes on a life of its own. ‘Fairchild’ was released in 2015, and fall 2018 will see the release of his heavily anticipated fifth studio album.

Falling somewhere between rock, jazz and electronic mayhem we find space rock. This is a genre that is not readily defined and is a state of mind as much as it could be considered a genre. This range of frequencies is where Papadosio tends to spend their time, sometimes dining in deep space, and other times snacking right on your front porch. Papadosio strives to create music that is strangely familiar and calls all walks of humanity to bask in a unique experience celebrating the one constant in an ever-changing world: music. Join Papadosio in an effort to create, augment, and rejoice in the universal language of music. Most importantly, have a good time.
“Lapa is synonymous to a musical adventure and experience, that blurs borders and transcends boundaries, illuminating the resonance of universal forces and teleporting people to wild, dream- like places of serenity and connection. The music creation is spearheaded by Ilya Goldberg, who is a producer and multi- instrumentalist. With a synthesis of analog, digital and found sounds, blending physical and virtual worlds, and with rooted support by Drummer/instrumentalist Brandon Warren and multi- instrumentalist Nickles D’Onofrio, Lapa’s music presents a diverse and captivating collection of sounds from around the worlds.” ~ Official Website.

“This is a motion picture detailing the life of Marie Antoinette after her betrothal to Louis XVI. From shoes to scandals, this movie outlines Marie Antoinette’s nature, and her dedication to a life of fabulousness and outrageousness. We hear her utter those immortal words that caused such an outrage amongst the peasants of France, but we soon learn that it was a lie, as was much of her life.” – IMDB.
