Random Rab Emerging from his own distinct corner of the West Coast electronic music scene, Random Rab offers a powerful and unique contribution to sonic exploration. Often referred to as “The Master of Emotion” his music is patently beautiful and melodic. With diverse influences ranging from trip-hop, classical and Arabic to bass driven compositions, his songs are considered anthemic and timeless. As a multi-instrumentalist and singer, his tracks are organic, uplifting and stand on their own as a distinct genre. The story picks up right where we last left Babe and everyone at the farm. Babe had just blown everyone away with his impressive display of skills during the sheep herding contest that he has become the talk of the town and a big hit most everywhere else. Calls are coming in left and right to turn Babe into a star, but Farmer Hoggett refuses to exploit him for profit. Then one day, Farmer Hoggett is injured on the farm and is unable to work leaving Mrs. Hoggett in charge. Soon unable to handle the work load and at risk of loosing the farm, Babe heads out to the big city to claim his fortune and save the farm.

Tickets available at Revolution Bicycles & from MTB Team members Revolution Bicycles and Arcata Theatre Lounge host a screening of “Blood Road,” a film that follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete (and Emmy Award Winner!!!) Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier. During this poignant voyage of self discovery, the women push their bodies to the limit while learning more about the historic ‘Blood Road’ they’re pedaling and how the Vietnam War shaped their lives in different ways. All proceeds benefit the Humboldt Composite High School Mountain Bike Club and our local G.I. Rights Hotline.
