The Disney film that is based on the books by P.L. Travers. It tells the story of the relationship between Edwardian-era British banker Mr. Banks and his two “impossible” children. When Mr. Banks hires the mysterious and magical Mary Poppins as the children’s new nanny, she immediately endears herself to the kids. Directed in 1964 starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, it is a musical film that blends live action with animation against original music by the Sherman Brothers. A classic that resonates with all ages.
